The rotary encoder is used to navigate through the various menus, options and functions of the firmware.

The Button and ButtonHold actions have context specific functionality that will be described in the corresponding help sections.
- Use the encoder to scroll through the menus at the current level.
- Use Button to select a sub-menu / action
- Use ButtonHold to return to the previous menu
Once the TapuinoNext has booted successfully (displayed the startup screen with version number and initialised) the Main Menu will display, defaulting to the first option: Insert Tap
