site search breaks when changing search parameters

1. Choose secchi depth

2. Time span from the start of 2024

3. Fetch sites

4. Pick some sites

5. Fetch data - works

6. Change to surge (wave direction, water temperature)

7. Fetch sites - sites on the map do not actually reset

8. Pick a site from the map - it does not register

9. Pick a site from the dropdown - error is thrown TypeError: undefined has no properties

Speculation: the Fetch sites functionality does not reset all site data, leaving some leftover references that cause issues. Can probably be fixed by resetting all data when fetching sites...
