Failed to run synchronizer: Broken pipe

I cannot seem to successfully extract an image back to the same drive/partition that I pulled it from. I have tried pulling the full drive (/dev/sda) as well as individual partitions. An empty 1G partition works but only after writing some garbage files to it.

I have tried version 2+61.20180112-1 from Ubuntu 28.04.1 as well as cloned and compiled from github cloned today.

Find the strace from the failure below. I removed all the "read" lines since they don't contribute to the issue and make the file too big to upload
