InIn Restore mode, on the Select Target Device page, TS includes external partitions in the source (path) column which have been EXCLUDED from backup.

System:

• Linux Distribution Name and Version: Linux Mint 19.2 (LTS till 2023)
• Desktop: Cinnamon
• Application Version: 19.1

The bug occurs during a Restore operation. The "Select Target Device" page shows explicitly excluded paths in the "Path" column on the left. These devices have not been backed up and therefore cannot be restored. The final summary page then provides a DIRE WARNING that all the data on these devices will be deleted/destroyed if the restore operation is executed.

Extra Info: Not all external devices are presents. A device in the fstab mounted to /media does NOT show up. Devices mounted to /data and /share, which are automatically excluded by TS and which appear in the Filter->Summary page) as /data/* and /share/, do show up. Theses devices have additional automatic excludes as well: /data/vms/, /data/backup/, /data/zin-old/, /share/zin/, /share/bck/.

Workaround: I found two workarounds which eliminate the DIRE WARNING.
1- On the "Select Target Device" page, in the "Device" column to the Right of the unbacked-up "Path", choose the option "Keep on Root Device"
2- In the Filters list, exclude the directories which should NOT be backed up which show up as /data/*** and /share/*** in the Filter->Summary list.

To Reproduce this error:
1- Have an external device mounted to a directory other than /media and /mnt.
2- Open TS and accept all settings defaults
3- Create (a backup or snapshot) by pressing the Create button
4- Exit TS
5- Open TS and select the Restore option
6- Accept all default selections on the "Set Target Device" page
7- Press Next to the penultimate page in the sequence.
8- Observe the dire warning message about what will happen to the contents of the external device.

I tried to get help on the Linux Mint Forums. I found that no one really understands the phrase "Keep on Root Device". No one could explain this behavior or how to resolve it beyond the workarounds I tried.
