Oddity happening at terminal login

Hey there, got some oddity happening whenever i have gpm running.
At login as soon as i press enter,right after the user login name,it appears like the enter key is stuck on repeat. It does this a few times until the login screen defaults back waiting for a login. I never get the chance to type in the password. Maybe the keyboard is seen as some sort of mouse? it's a Microsoft Comfort Curve if it makes any difference.

It's only when do any type of Login that it happens, and only if i do "user [enter]" ,
if i just press "[enter]" it doesn't repeat.

A headscratcher this one. (atleast for me)

Both mouse and keyboard are of the USB type.
