Would you consider possibly adding an eli5* section in the README about
how gpm and, say, ncurses communicate? Is it via unix signals, like SIGINT
or SIGWINCH? Over ports, like ftp or http? Or is it based on something
else? Escape codes? How does either gpm or ncurses (whichever is right) know what terminal is currently active, (if it is escape
codes?) in order to send the escape codes to the right terminal?
Explain Like I'm 5 (Reddit-speak for explaining things in an
easy-for-a-layperson-to-understand way)
