When will be the next update?

It seems to be that not many people were assigned to this project. And probably they are focusing more on other things like media pipe and gen AI related stuff. Don't blame the people but the company behind them. Seems to be that this project is not a priority for them which in essence is not a bad thing. Let's hope it gets a little bit more attention in the future, since it's quite an important package to have in flutter. Nevertheless you can always opt for a native implementation if the package lacks features you need.
