Till you have full real linux support, wouldn't you want to implement workaround? There actually already exist some backends for auto-completion for swift under linux:
https://github.com/oblitum/swift-ycm-core
And sourceKitten have Linux support already:
jpsim/SourceKitten#179
It would be nice to have single SourceKittenDaemon frontend for auto-completion on both,
