OLED

Hello there!

Here is the code to automate the installation of py-gaugette and all of its dependencies. Py-gaugette adds many functions to the Raspberry Pi in terms of SPI use. This GitHub repo is for my YouTube tutorial here:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeBfpJnN9SE&feature=c4-overview&list=UUfY8sl5Q6VKndz0nLaGygPw

The code and commands are intended for use with Adafruit's monochrome displays with the Raspberry Pi. These are small (1") black and white OLED displays that are available very cheaply and are perfect for everything from notifications to thumbnail images. In my tutorial I show you how to get them working!

You can buy them from Pimoroni if you are in the UK: http://shop.pimoroni.com/products/adafruit-monochrome-0-96-128x64-oled-graphic-display

Or Adafruit if you are in the US: http://www.adafruit.com/products/326

Please note that this code is for Python 2.7.

The Python programs and shell commands in this repo are open to the public however if you would like to use them on a larger scale (for example: in industry) then please contact me for permission.

If you find any problems/bugs then please do not hesitate to bring them up!

I can be reached at: [email protected]

Thanks for watching and please consider dropping me a subscription on YouTube, or following me on Twitter!
