New version tag(s) since v1.0

This is in a sense a reprise of #2, see also thegenemyers/DAZZ_DB#34

Currently there is only one version tag on the git repository, v1.0 dated 2015-06-15
https://github.com/thegenemyers/DALIGNER/tree/V1.0

I would like to be able to point at a more recent release, for example the 2016-04-12 update which merged HPCmapper & HPCdaligner into HPC.daligner.

Are you happy to add a formal version numbering (ideally also accessible via the tools themselves with -v or --version command line switches), or would you recommend referring to particular versions by the date of the associated commit?
