[v2.28.0] Possible logic error with plane model doors in Tower of Goddess or cursed chests.

I'm running my first seed ever, was having an absolute blast, but I've run up against a wall, blocked by the Mulana Talisman to open cursed chests and the Plane Model to fight Palenque, unlock the Tower of the Goddess, and the Death Seal for a couple miscellaneous checks. (Also missing a couple of things for go mode like the key sword and mantra.exe, but they're not gating immediate progression.

According to the spoiler log:

• the Death Seal is in the lower part of Chamber of Birth, thus gated by the Plane Model unlocking Tower of the Goddess
• the Plane Model is in a cursed chest in the Dimensional Corridor
• the Mulana Talisman is in the coin chest in the Tower of Ruin.

As far as I'm aware, the Tower of Ruin is effectively split into 3 parts: The main part with Thunderbird where you set up access to Viy, the Medicine of Life section which you can only access from Tower of the Goddess, and the Pyramid section, which you have to access through the underground path that goes through Surface and Inferno Cavern. The Medicine of Life and Pyramid sections can be connected through a Death Seal and one of the Philosopher ladders and such, but the main section and the Medicine of Life section are effectively entirely separate.

So...unless there's an alternate way up to the higher parts of Tower of Ruin that I'm not aware of, I need the Plane Model to get the Mulana Talisman, which I need to get the Plane Model (I'm sure there's a way if you're including high level speedrun strats, but...I'm not a high level speedrunner.

If there isn't just a passage that I don't know about, and I had to guess, I'd suggest either the logic system is not recognizing that doors out of Tower of the Goddess are inaccessible until the Plane Model is collected instead of just opening the chest the Plane Model is normally found in, or the randomized cursed chests are not properly flagging the cursed chests as requiring the Mulana Talisman.

You don't need the Death Seal to get from the Pyramid section to the Medicine section, only to unlock the ladder leading back up from the Medicine section into the Pyramid section. There's a pit one screen right of the Pyramid that leads down to the Medicine section. I believe this is what you're missing?

EDIT: No, right, you need to beat Palenque in order to reach the Pyramid section, unless I'm mistaken. Let me think a bit more.

I've tried to recreate your seed to test it out myself, but I'm not getting the same item locations as you listed, so something in the rest of your settings is different and I can't easily guess what. You're gonna have to post your settings string proper (from the Share/Import Settings tab).

I've since made a few settings changes to avoid the issue coming up again, but I think I've got this right:

The other tabs are entirely default - as you can tell from the screenshot, my theme's colour settings make it somewhat difficult to notice that the other tabs are even there, and I didn't discover them until I'd played about 3 or 4 seeds.

I'm not too concerned about the seed specifically, it's just that hard locking the model plane behind something that's hard locked by the model plane is a bit of a logic issue. And once a randomizer reaches a certain point, the only way you find the last few logic issues is by having users report those wacky one-off scenarios that you thought you'd accounted for somehow.

This may or may not have been relevant to the seed, but the plane model isn't required to fight Palenque. The only requirements are that you get Pochette Key, activate the murals in Shiva's Crucifix, use the key on the smaller one, and then make it to the ankh with an ankh jewel. Whether beating Palenque would have allowed you to progress, I don't know, but you could have.
