Is there an easy way to duplicate a channel with multiple patterns?

Is there a way to duplicate a channel without individually copy-pasting all patterns used?

For instance, say on channel 1 I have ten patterns. I want to clone this into channel 2 to double the lines with a different instrument. I'd rather not have to manually copy-paste ten channels one at a time.

Some odds here.

I'd think it would shorten some time in both cases greatly, but I can't be sure as none of other trackers ever implemented this channel duping.

Jeskola Buzz (still the best tracker ever conceived, imo) allows you to clone a machine (Buzz-speak for what is essentially a channel + instrument combined) with patterns. So, clone a generator, then replace the generator with a different one, you'll keep the patterns from the original.

OpenMPT can do it as well - right-click the "Channel #" box (eg, directly underneath the rainbow-colored bars, the area you'd left-click to mute/unmute), then select "Duplicate Channel".

I'm not too familiar with Renoise and FLStudio, but I suspect they have this feature as well.

And of course, the basic gist of the feature is extremely common with non-tracker DAWs.
