Omega Firmware Changelog

Log of all changes made to the Onion Omega LEDE Firmware

Version Syntax

The Omega Firmware version is in the following format:

A.B.C bXYZ

The individual parts correspond to the following:

  • A is the ULTRA version
  • B is the Major version
  • C is the Minor version
  • XYZ is the build number

For example:

0.0.6 b164

The build number will continuously increment over the course of development.

      • If unique MAC address is detected (RF calibration is complete), the ethernet port will be set to client mode, if not already
    • Package updates to make this happen:
      • Onion Script:
        • Can now check ethernet port mode based on network config file
        • Ethernet mode init.d script runs sooner in boot process and takes action based on above

        • Avoids unnecessary system process restarts
