When looking at the app via Skylight I discovered a very slow query: https://oss.skylight.io/app/applications/nz7MAOv6K6ra/1608176820/4h54m/endpoints/Explore::SpeciesController%23index?responseType=html

A quick check of the database tells me that there is no index on wiki_score which may well explain the slowness.
