Moodle 4.1.14 cannot obtain task lock

Similarity reports are not obtained and scheduled task remains active for ever

When i try to manually run the task i get this

php scheduled_task.php --execute="\plagiarism_turnitin\task\update_reports"
Cannot obtain task lock

Any ideas?

Solved by unlocking the script from the locks table. This forced the task to run again and increased the execution time to allow the script to run and complete its tasks. thank you :)
