gitea pwd

i was testing gitea on a LXC and set the pwd using a manager and then copy paste into the terminal

the password used was .qt29xR-N55QJ,F;fHgX;ccV2-gYAj12

but when i log into the 'gitea' account using web UI it say incorrect password

is there a max character limit for password on the setup console?

Hi there thanks for your report. Are you using the latest 18.0 version? Also are you trying to log in with the gitea user account? Or something else?

FWIW from a glance, your password doesn't look like it should cause any issues. But if you can confirm that you still have the issue on the latest release using gitea then I'll have a closer look.
