Hi,

This is a right management issue as the plugin does not appear in the global roles pannel.

Anybody can view "all files" as expected, even from projects i don't want them to, can the top menu location be ruled as any other particular plugin ?

Thanks.

L

The plugin shows user only that files which user can see. If an issue with attached files is not visible to user then these files are not displayed there. It was rechecked on our Redmine.
If you really have described problem could you please provide additional information: redmine version, where you have attached files (issues or another container), maybe some other plugins installed in your Redmine which control additional access to the issues.

Here's my config:

Environment:
Redmine version 2.2.0.stable
Ruby version 1.9.3 (x86_64-linux)
Rails version 3.2.9
Environment production
Database adapter Mysql2

Redmine plugins:
google_analytics_plugin 0.3.0-beta
redmine_all_files 0.0.3
redmine_apijs 3.0.0
redmine_banner 0.0.8
redmine_changeauthor 1.0.0
redmine_improved_searchbox 0.0.2
redmine_knowledgebase 2.2.0
redmine_open_links_in_new_window 0.0.2
redmine_silencer 0.0.1
redmine_stealth 0.6.0
sidebar_hide 0.0.1

…and with a lot of files i always got a 504 timeout :|

If i understand your statement, there's no way to hide the "all files" tab in the top menu ?

I think there are too many files in your projects (it is surely not your fault :) ) and it takes too much time to fetch them. We do understand you and know about this issue.
We have some ideas how to improve performance. We add some info here when a fix will be ready.

Yes we've got gigas !
I would hope a pagination thing, hope you'll be able to fix this!
Thank you

Hi. Is someone working on this?

Nope, we've allocated more resources to server to face the problem, not elegant but functionnal.

What would be better: infinite scrolling or pagination? What do you think?

In our case for example we've got 3 Gigs of file data, pagination may be better to gain access to the end of the whole files without loading all of them, do you think too ?

Yea, you're right
