Document usage with gradle #64
Comments
I came here to ask about this. Also stuck with Gradle and was hoping there is a way to use the plugin. |
Hi, I don't use Gradle to build Scala, so I wouldn't know. But it seems like the question is "How to use a Scala compiler plugin with Gradle?", which is not specific to kind-projector. Therefore, you might have more luck with getting the answer in channels related to Scala plugin for Gradle. If you do manage to get it working, I will be grateful if you share the solution with us. |
I don't know Gradle either, but you might be able to copy/adapt https://developer.lightbend.com/docs/fortify/latest/#getting-and-using-the-translator-with-gradle- (omitting out the stuff about Lightbend credentials) |
@DamianReeves @lu4nm3 If you managed to get kind-projector working with gradle, could you please share your solution so that we can add it to the README and close this issue? Better yet, open a PR that updates the README. |
Sorry, I didn't get a chance to work on this. Also, not really familiar with Gradle |
The same approach as for the Fortify plugin works, here is a working configuration: https://gist.github.com/koterpillar/edea748d363cb73a795c8ed3970e1b9f |
Someone want to PR this as an addition to the readme? |
I happen to be stuck with a build pipeline that uses gradle and its scala plugin. Is there a way to use this with gradle?
