Describe the issue

Huge incompatibilities between the latest stable release and what you get when you go get or build from source can be frustrating - see #626

Additional context

Documentation currently recommends go get as one way of installing Inertia, this should probably be completely removed / linked to a complete step-by-step for building a tagged release from source. Probably also disable setting latest to the default daemon version in CLI.
