We encourage all users and devs to use this Discussions feature as a forum before posting an Issue. You will receive discussion notifications if you are watching all activity this repository.

If you know Hammer has a bug or urgently need a new feature, file an Issue instead. Otherwise:

• Select a category (see below)
• Select an appropriate label for each post
• Tag a maintainer with @[username] if you need them to be involved in the discussion
• Reference issues/pull requests with #[number] if they are relevant
• Post away!

Selecting a category

• Support (Q&A):
  • You have run into a problem running Hammer and need help debugging
  • You are successful in running Hammer but are wondering how to interpret warnings/errors or output files
  • IMPORTANT: do not post questions related to a tool or technology that does not have a plugin included in this repository (e.g. TSMC, Intel, Calibre, etc.)
  • If you encounter your problem while running Hammer within Chipyard, please add the Chipyard label.
  • If someone has answered your question, please click "Mark as answer"
• Development:
  • You are unsure if a feature exists/is supported
  • You know a feature is unsupported but are wondering if anyone is working on it
  • You are planning a new feature and would like feedback before implementing it
• Polls:
  • You would like to know what option to pick for a future feature (e.g. it may not be backwards compatible)
