cp: permission denied #2423

When copying the follow directory with restrictive permission I get a permission denied error which does not happen with gnu-cp.

$ result/bin/cp -r -- /nix/store/21zp1xfq78bp4rgvdlvd5r2d0rmmp55n-source source
cp: '/nix/store/21zp1xfq78bp4rgvdlvd5r2d0rmmp55n-source/README' -> 'source/README': Permission denied (os error 13)
