How to build arm lldb vsix on ubuntu(x86)

Hi,
I am facing issue while building arm vsix package in ubuntu

I have updated toolchain-arm-linux-gnueabihf.cmake below

Then I followed these steps to build the arm package on ubuntu(x86)

• git clone https://github.com/vadimcn/codelldb.git
• cd codelldb
• export CC=arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc
• export CXX=arm-linux-gnueabihf-g++
• export LD=/usr/bin/arm-linux-gnueabihf-ld
• mkdir build
• cd build
• cmake .. -DCMAKE_TOOLCHAIN_FILE=cmake/toolchain-arm-linux-gnueabihf.cmake -DLLDB_PACKAGE=lldb.zip #lldb.zip is the directory from an existing CodeLLDB(arm) in vs code
• make
• make vsix_full

Got error in make command

The tool chain file expects clang's libc++ to be installed.

You need to install the arm version of libc++. Or, you can edit the toolchain file and let GCC link its own libstdc++.

made changes in /adapter/CMakeLists.txt
-lstdc++ instead of -lc++

now got ERROR in

I couldn't find -lc++abi, please share if any link to install/package for that library would be helpful.

Just drop it from the command line. IIRC, libstdc++ includes all that functionality internally.

I have removed -lc++abi and am able to build vsix package

Once I installed the extension in vs code (arm) , got an error of

Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, stat '/root/.local/share/code-server/extensions/vadimcn.vscode-lldb-1.9.2-dev.2305301340/lldb'

I noticed that there is no 'lldb' directory present. The contents of the vadimcn.vscode-lldb-1.9.2-dev.2305301340 directory are as follows

adapter CHANGELOG.md extension.js formatters images package.json platform.ok README.md syntaxes

then i manualy added lldb directory which is from previous installed

then i have faced this error

Error: ""/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.29\' not found (required by /root/.local/share/code-server/extensions/vadimcn.vscode-lldb-1.9.2-dev.2306061106/adapter/libcodelldb.so)""

on my understanding of this error, the version of GLIBC installed on my system is older than the version required by the "arm-linux-gnueabihf" library.

so i have tried with lowest version of arm-linux-gnueabihf(i.e., gcc-8) ,even then got same error.

How to fix these above issues to make it work or providing any steps that I might have missed during the installation process.

I dunno, building vsix_full target should have included all of lldb package (the zip file you've provided with -DLLDB_PACKAGE) into the vsix package.

Error: ""/lib/arm-linux-gnueabihf/libc.so.6: version GLIBC_2.29' not found

This typically means that you've linked your binary to a newer version of glibc than is available on the system.
