Dear All,
I am new to 'Metagenome analysis'.
I am working on gut-microbial metagenomic analysis of some communities.
I came across 'Vegan- Canonical Correspondence Analysis' (CCA) recently. I wonder if CCA could be applied to find the effects of environmental variables on pathway abundance (Here, site = fecal samples from different communities; species = pathways (and their abundances in each sample); environmental variables = various anthropometric data such as fiber intake, exposure to pollutants, protein consumed .....)
I would be grateful for your suggestions.
