We have implementeted SQLAlchemy 2 support with also support for TLS connections. https://github.com/porkoaiv/vertica-sqlalchemy-dialect

@tomercagan , I had a chat with the Vertica development team responsible for this project about a month ago and they promised to look into it and merge when they have done their review. So hopefully yes, but I was not given an estimate.
