Error when installing esbuild dependency

Describe the bug

When I initially installed vite it set the version of esbuild to a buggy version. It leads to the bug described here:
evanw/esbuild#1703

Upgrading to the latest version of esbuild resolved the issue for me (pnpm install -D esbuild@latest). Maybe time to version bump esbuild?
