Tabs created as progressive up/down moves. #1860

Hi,
I opened an issue a while back to report a problem I have with the way tabs are generated, re issue #1860 'Tabs created as progressive up/down moves.' .
Maybe I should have started a discussion first here to get help on a possible workaround.

Hi,
I found that this is the way tabs are generated when the laser cutter option is checked in the CNC config panel.
To me the display of the paths with the tabs is a bit confusion as it does not represent the final result, but the tabs are uncut thanks to the M5 commands added in the 'tab up' section in the gcode to switch the laser off.
