@alexmigf I'm unable to replicate this issue. I tried it on the main branch of both plugins.

Could you please give me more information about your setup so I can replicate it?

First enable the "Require Invoice" In the Receipt document settings:

After that create an Order and generate both Invoice and Receipt.

Finally delete the Invoice:

You will see that the Receipt document disappears from the Document data metabox, but it still generated for the order:

But maybe this is an issue to be fixed on Pro?
