Giphy capture offers a feature to select a loop type of the video once it is recorded. I think Kap would benefit from having a similar functionality.
I suggest, instead of making a permanent setting like we have now (to loop the videos or not), have a dropdown next to FPS selection at the bottom. It could look similar to Giphy:
I suggest the following options:
None
Jump to start
Reverse to start
Fade black to start
Fade white to start
What do you think? Where would you start implementing (I might contribute if we agree that is a useful feature).

Maybe, we can also consider a feature that would allow moving the video starting position, if the video is looped. This could help to basically "select thumbnail" for non-autoplayed videos.
