libvpx v1.8.0 was tagged yesterday (GitHub), it would be nice if libvpx-go could be updated to this version.

Hi, this is a good idea to revise the version of VPX, considering the changes to Go 1.12 that may affect cgo bindings too.

Thanks, so is this directory https://github.com/xlab/libvpx-go/tree/master/vpx/vpx-1.6.0 outdated?

@hajimehoshi ah, I think people in #11 were just linking with 1.8.0 while package API was generated from 1.6.0 source headers. I.e. bindings are generated over 1.6.0, but it links with currently available on the system #cgo pkg-config: vpx as long as API didn't change much it should be fine.

Latest tag is now v1.14.1 by the way. Here's the changelog.
