It would be great to have an option in the web page to schedule the time the relay is turned ON and OFF.
e.g. turn ON at 6:00 PM & Turn OFF are 11:00 PM

I would like too see a more generic scheduler that could also change the colour for light bulbs or LED strips.

I am working on adding colour cycling and sequences. Then I plan to trigger a sequence as a sunrise clock.

To restore the functionality which is in the original Sonoff modules (at least in my Sonoff Dual) it would be enough to re-implement the schedule function mentioned by @sfilinto

+1 On a schedule. Adding schedule events could use the same MMI that adding networks does. Together with a clock that keeps time and summer/winter adjustments with NTP (like it does now) gives espurna great power.

+1 The function on the original equipment is essential in my opinion.

I would like to see this in milestone 1.9.0. Why? All additional functions of ESPurna can't be used if the user needs this functionality which is available in the original firmware. It prevents me from flashing my productive unit as I rely on the scheduler.

It's a very important feature IMHO; I can help to develop it

As this is the top rated feature request and also the one missing feature that keeps me from migrating my Sonoff Dual to the ESPurna Firmware, I'd like to ask for a timeframe for its implementation. Version 2.0.0 sounded promising until 1.10.x was released ;-)

I subitted a pull request hat answer @ingo and is easily expandable to match @chris request

I would propose also that schedule events get published by MQTT like switches do. Probably number of configured events should be published, too.

A different approach could be a JSON with the list of events

Thanks, @faina09.
As I'm happy being able to at least compiling and uploading the firmware I hope your submission will make it into one of the next official firmwares.

Just got the schedule working!!! Hooray! I hope this gets into master branch soon. BIG thanks @stefano for making this come true, and of course @xoseperez for Espurna.

This sounds promising. I also hope it will be merged into the main branch.
