Troubles with espurna-1.9.4-itead-sonoff-basic.bin #228
Comments
Hi |
Original comment by Daniel Silva (Bitbucket: dreamfalcon, GitHub: dreamfalcon): Add some problems also after upgrading, the sonoff started the AP but was unable to connect. |
Original comment by Daniel Silva (Bitbucket: dreamfalcon, GitHub: dreamfalcon): And it continues giving problems, the webpage doesn't load and sometimes the MQTT commands have a small delay. |
Original comment by Daniel Silva (Bitbucket: dreamfalcon, GitHub: dreamfalcon): Can't even return to 1.9.2 using the OTA. |
Original comment by Daniel Silva (Bitbucket: dreamfalcon, GitHub: dreamfalcon): Meanwhile it just "died". |
Thanks for your reports. |
Original comment by Vincèn PUJOL (Bitbucket: vincegre, GitHub: vincegre): Just discovered Espurna and falshed one of my Sonoff basic to discover same issue as reported here :( On my cellphone I see the AP but unable to connect to it (once typed password for wifi phone tries to connect without success) and on my laptop I don't even see the Wifi SSID :( Should I install previous version after a flash reset ? or wait for a very soon update that correct these issues ? |
Original comment by Daniel Silva (Bitbucket: dreamfalcon, GitHub: dreamfalcon): The AiLight was also giving some problems. @vincèn PUJOL the version 1.9.2 its working with no problems. |
Original comment by Daniel Silva (Bitbucket: dreamfalcon, GitHub: dreamfalcon): You need to click on Update to save. |
I have released 1.9.5 reverting the JustWifi change. |
Original comment by Daniel Silva (Bitbucket: dreamfalcon, GitHub: dreamfalcon): sonoff basic is working with 1.9.5, but AiLight no. |
Original comment by Daniel Silva (Bitbucket: dreamfalcon, GitHub: dreamfalcon): And the AiLight died while flashing 1.9.2. |
Mmm... that's weird. Most of the times it's a matter of time that it opens an AP connection, you can then flash the binary from the webUI. |
Original comment by kvpdesperado (Bitbucket: kvpdesperado, GitHub: kvpdesperado): My sonoff basic still makes trouble. The wifi connection is completely unstable and it is not possible to connect to the sonoff web interface. |
Original comment by Daniel Silva (Bitbucket: dreamfalcon, GitHub: dreamfalcon): With 1.9.4/5 only works fine during a few seconds after turning on the power. The first time was able to flash after a dozen tries, but this time something went wrong during the flash process. |
Original comment by Peter Wollenberg (Bitbucket: Maestro74, GitHub: Unknown): Would like to agree. I also changed from 1.9.5 again to 1.9.2. Version 1.9.2 seems to be most stable to run. |
Original comment by thomasvt97 (Bitbucket: thomasvt97, GitHub: Unknown): I'm running version 1.9.5 now, which runs stable as 1.9.7 has problems with connecting to WiFi. 1.9.2 also works fine. Edit: After setting the settings to my liking and upgrading to 1.9.7 via the web interface it seems to work. |

Hello,
espurna-1.9.1-itead-sonoff-basic.bin
and
espurna-1.9.2-itead-sonoff-basic.bin
work well on my two sonoff basic, but not

Impossible to connect to modules in AP mode
