Support for Thingspeak is in the dev branch now. It's is disabled by default. You have to edit the general.h file and set THINGSPEAK_SUPPORT to 1 to enable it.

The default configuration is to use the HTTP API (not HTTPS). HTTPS is possible but not compatible with other features due to its memory footprint. If HTTPS is a must I recommend disabling WEB_SUPPORT.
