Can't download paid apps

Be able to download a paid app

Actual behaviour

Hello, I'm sorry if this is maybe a common issue, but I couldn't find something similar to what I'm experiencing.

I log into my google account, try to download a paid app and get redirected to the app page on google play. The 'Download' button shows the price of the app in Yalp.
I reinstalled the Yalp twice already.
Is there a way to check if my account has connected with success?

The apps I tried to download that didn't work: reddit is fun golden platinum, Star Wars KOTOR
The app that worked: Solid Explorer (since it's license-based and not a separate paid app I guess?).
