During Hackweek the Vision was to make Zappr Github Marketplace ready 🎉 but we realized early that first of all understanding the code, the abstraction model behind it and tackling outdated documentation and dependencies are more important topics before going that way.

Nevertheless, here is a list of tasks to Check once we want to do this:

  • Talk to legal if providing Zappr as a free Github Marketplace application might be an issue (as we provide Software to others - free of charge could still
  • Zappr only as a completely free service . This has advantages:

Choosing to Make this a completely free service means that your app will not need to implement billing flows for free trials, upgrades, and downgrades. Your free app will still need to implement billing flows for new purchases and cancellations. If you add a paid plan to an app that you've already listed in GitHub Marketplace as a free service, you'll need to resubmit the app for review.

Just FYI: This is the outcome of some past discussion with Paul and OS Team :)

Installing apps on GHE instance level similar to this request would be great.
