Had anyone got any step-by-step instructions on how to compile the sources?
Can the source for, say, a DL series NAS be compiled using Visual Studio 2019?
Can the source be compiled on Ubuntu running under WSL2 on Windows 10?
Could the source be compiled directly on the NAS itself?

I think a lot of people would be fine compiling their own binary if there were clear instructions available. I could compile my own, but I'm not really sure how to set-up the compiling environment and how to deal with any glitches along the way.
