ASCII/Unicode in-application approximate rendering of images #415

I don't think ASCII images would be too useful for most people; in order to get any level of clarity, you'd need to have crazy large terminal dimensions. I'd recommend implementing a framebuffer image display, similar to w3m-img or fbi, although I'm not sure how difficult that would be in python. Apparently this guy did it? |

Hey @amanagr , Should this issue be still worked upon ? Wouldn't the clarity of image be reduced for the user (maybe , attach the link as well with it ?) . |

It would be nice if received images were rendered in ASCII. Currently, I always need to download them first and render them in ASCII afterwards.
This feature is very important for those users who really do not have a graphical Desktop.
