Focus Island

Dan Kelley edited this page Mar 14, 2020 · 2 revisions

The Abaco Island in Bahamas is the final choice for our focus island. This was chosen due to the fact that the Bahamas are low lying, as shown by ref 1, and therefore at risk to sea level rise. Additionally, the recent Hurricane Dorian caused great impact to the Abaco Island, and could therefore be of great interest to people. Lastly, as shown by ref 2, Canada and Bahamas have close relations.

Site location (Marsh Harbour, on Abaco Island) is 26.54124N -77.0636W according to reference 3.
