When using the template in prepare-pipelines we need to use $(Build.SourceVersion) as our checkout so that people can trigger on their pull requests.

For the pipeline generation automation pipelines we want to default those to the main branches in the sdk repos.

The following pipelines have been queued for testing:
java - template
java - template - tests
js - template
net - template
net - template - tests
python - template
python - template - tests
You can sign off on the approval gate to test the release stage of each pipeline.
