Portal 1 Style Fizzlers do not disable particles when disabled

This fizzler, in fact, is inactive, and does not fizzle cubes brought through it.
However, the particle field does not go away.

I got curious about this one, since I hadn't run into this problem myself. It seems the problem is limited to fizzlers with a width of 1 block:

It seems active, but is as Endermage77 said inactive, and I've portaled through to prove it.
