Hello! I have installed ChurchCRM on a subdomain on a shared hosting account, but am unable to login with the default credentials. When I enter admin / changeme for the login, the screen just refreshes. No errors anywhere. If I try an incorrect login, it says "Invalid login or password".

Any idea what my problem could be? It is installed at http://wmfrisco.hewittfam.com. All php info can be viewed at http://wmfrisco.hewittfam.com/info.php.

Thank you so much for any assistance you can provide!

We've seen this a few times - I think it's usually Mod_Rewrite not working.

Okay. Should I just search "Mod_Rewrite" in the Issues and there will be suggestions for a fix? I apologize I know very little about PHP. :-/

@j2hgroup can you verify/ensure all files in your install has permission 755? then file permissions issues can be ruled out. (I'll suggest u do a fresh install, check/set permissions 755 to avoid any other hidden issues) you may also need to check your browser cookie policy (accept cookies)
I believe this may be a permissions issue as I had the same problem on 3 installs, i reinstalled on 1 and change permissions on two and all was ok.

@boluak I changed all permissions to 755 via Filezilla FTP, which is what finally made my install work and gave me the login screen. Before that, it wasn't working. Now I just can't login.

Thank you, @crossan007. I'll check these out. I came across several of them when searching for an answer before I posted, but may have missed some of them.
