In case you wish to do those pesky newlines with less characters than a <br/> I believe you can also use either a trailing _ or \ instead, which is still visible.

See this gist for reference on the \, and this StackOverflow for reference on the _.

No worries if you don't wish to merge this, but it was easy to show the markdown options that way :) It produces the same result in my local testing and they may be a bit cleaner to look at raw.

And like I said, this is just personal taste, I believe. If you wished to keep the <br/> there's nothing wrong with that either.
