I'm wondering why info_distro would think you're on debian.

Have you tried installing dependencies manually before running the install script?
For CentOS:

yum install curl wget tar bzip2 gzip unzip python3 binutils bc jq tmux glibc.i686 libstdc++ libstdc++.i686

Also, what's the output of cat /etc/centos-release?
