Supported devices

Retroid Pocket 2+, on Android 11 or LineageOS 19.1

Note: This installer is only for Retroid's Android 11 firmware

If you are on Android 9.0, you will need to upgrade to either Android 11 or LineageOS 19.1 first.
If you are on LineageOS 19.1 already, you do not need this. You can just use the Updater in Settings to upgrade to the latest LineageOS release, which will have the MicroSD bootloader preinstalled.

Known issues

Breaks Retroid's OTA updater on Android 11

It is unlikely that Retroid will release any more OTA updates for Android 11 on the Retroid Pocket 2+.
Running restore_stock_bootloader.sh will allow you to restore the original bootloader, allowing you to install OTA updates once again.
The bootloader can then be re-installed post-OTA update.
