Import Gifs #987
Comments
@Sam5furr no |
I know how to import it and it functions correctly when viewing the layers by themselves but when generating the collection they seems to just take a picture of its starting position and copy that over. any information on how to correct this would be awesome. |
@Sam5furr the libraries we use don't support loading gifs and this would be quite complicated to implement (e.g. what if there are two gifs of different lengths?). You're welcome to try implementing it yourself though. |
any advise on where to try tweaking? The way i structured my gifs they should all run together regardless of lengths being different. If i can just figure out how to get art generator to not copy over just a screenshot of the image and instead the entire gif files. |
Yea I’ll never figure it out on my own ha. I’m not a programmer I’m an artist. Thanks anyways.

is this still not possible? |
@gentlesz it's unfortunately not a well requested feature, if more people wanted it I'd be happy to implement it. |
Hi, I'm interested in the feature if it's a vote to implementing it. |
@hamhocks it looks like somebody else has done it since this thread, you could try checking that out. |
Is their a way to import individual gifs as layers and them perform functionally within this engine?
