There were some undocumented steps that I'd like to add to our "making releases" page with this pull request:

When I was updating https://www.iq.harvard.edu/roadmap-dataverse-project it occurred to me that we should put some new stuff under "Implementation" since all of these 5.12/HDC items have shipped:

Also, we could update https://dataverse.org/software-features to add Globus and Linked Data Notifications (LDN). Typically this hasn't been part of our release process (so I didn't document it that way). It's just something we do from time to time, most recently in this issue:

Finally, we lost our main tweeters fairly recently. 😞 That means we haven't tweeted about the 5.12 release yet (and I didn't document this as a step). Hopefully we'll sort this out soon.
