Can you still pick by typing s in suxwigb/xwigb?John StockwellVisit: https://wiki.Seismic-Unix.orgThe new home of Seismic Un*xOn May 1, 2024, at 8:56 AM, gb1y12 ***@***.***> wrote:
Hello,
I downloaded and installed SU44R23 on my WSL Ubuntu 22.04.4 (Jammy).
I did not have any error messages during the installation.
I can open and visualize my .su file with suxwigb or suximage. However, when I wanted to pick the data with suxpicker I got a segmentation fault. The same thing happens when I try to use xpicker instead.
Do you know why this may happen?
Many thanks,
Gaye

Typing "s" whilst visualising the seismic section via suxwigb, writes the times on the terminal and I could copy from the terminal to a file, but I don't see my picks on the seismic section.
Thanks, Gaye

That is correct. It is blind picking. The shell script Velan.radon located in a subdirectory of demos/Course remedies this a little bit by saving the picks and plotting a line through them on a subsequent display panel John StockwellVisit: https://wiki.Seismic-Unix.orgThe new home of Seismic Un*xOn May 7, 2024, at 4:48 AM, gb1y12 ***@***.***> wrote:

You can write your picks directly to a file by using mpicks=filename.txtJohn StockwellVisit: https://wiki.Seismic-Unix.orgThe new home of Seismic Un*xOn May 7, 2024, at 7:25 AM, John Stockwell ***@***.***> wrote:That is correct.
