The stall guard on the selector carriage works, but it is possible for a lighter jam to prevent the selector from traveling the full distance but no to register a skip.
There is a chance this is a non issue, and what was happening was sliding the head before it really got a chance to lock into its new position. I'm not sure if there's a holding current that should be left on for a second after a move or what, but it's something I noticed.
It's NOT a high priority issue, I feel, but it is worth noting.
