This is a data package that compiles, edits and redistributes relatively
large taxonomic datasets and maps that are currently used by the R
package plantR (https://github.com/LimaRAF/plantR/). These datasets
are used for the validation of taxonomic and geographic information
associated to species occurrence records.
Currently, plantRdata provides processed datasets from the following
sources:
- World Flora Online
- World Checklist of Vascular Plants
- Global Biodiversity Information Facility
- Only the kingdoms Plantae, Fungi and Animalia are currently provided
- Flora and Funga of
Brazil
- Divided into Tracheophyta, Fungi, Bryophyta and Algae
Please read the documentation of each dataset for further details (e.g.
?wfoNames) on dataset content, processing, orginal source and last
update.
You can install the development version from GitHub with:
