Record a game

Maybe your team won the Stanley cups and you want to have their games saved on your PC, or you want to watch the game with a delay so you can skip commercial breaks.
- In settings, click on Output toggle button to open the recorder instead of the player when starting a stream.
- (Live game only) On the game panel, make sure you are in Replay action before starting a stream.
- Click on a stream, it will open a terminal, unfortunately without logs/feedbacks, but leave it open.
- Go to the output folder, by default it saves the game file in
%USERPROFILE%/videos
- You may open it while it's recording
Tip: wait a 5 to 10 minutes or so to get a nice buffer, open it in VLC, then use the
Playback > Renderer
feature to send it to your TV (chromecast, firestick, and such), by the way you can do the same thing using the Rewind feature on a live game without the Output feature enabled.
You can discuss about it in Discussion QA or on our subreddit /r/nhl_games
If you got an issue that isn't listed in our Wiki or the workaround does not work, feel free to open an Issue
