Compile Times benchmarkNote, that these numbers may fluctuate on the CI servers, so take them with a grain of salt. All benchmark results are based on the mean time and negative percent mean faster than the base branch. Note, that GLMakie + WGLMakie run on an emulated GPU, so the runtime benchmark is much slower. This is more of a proposal to make plot attribute validation a bit less breaking. It adds
userdata
as valid attribute so you can doplot(..., userdata = ...)
.Could be useful for #3650 (comment) or for passing extra data for DataInspector labels
Another possibility to continue allowing user created attributes would be to have users explicitly allow names. E.g.
plot(..., my_attrib = ..., allow = (:my_attrib, ))
.
